Shotton got back to winning ways after a 9 - 0 win over Aston Park Rangers today. The game was very scrappy to begin with but Shotton eventually took the lead midway through the first half when Andy Jones opened the scoring. Lewis Wright scored shortly after Andy's opener to make it 2 - 0 with a great strike on the edge of the box. Will Leonard added to the tally to make it 3 - 0 just inside the first half with a long range effort into the top corner.
In the second half the flood gates opened with more goals coming from Andy Jones, Will Leonard, Tom Bibby, Ieuan Rowe and David Ellis. Shotton carried out their business in a very proffessional manner and kept their positional discipline.
Andy Jones was voted man of the match after scoring yet another hat trick this season. A fine team performance all round.
