Shotton Steel Under 11's 1
Mynydd Isa Young Guns 4

This weekend we played a very strong Mynydd Isa Young Guns side but as we were on the back of 3 straight wins the Steel Men were up for the challenge.
In the first period the match was even but it was Isa who scored first. Shotton on came close through Iwan and Andrew but Isa scored again to go in 2-0 up in the first period.
The next period saw Shotton take the game to Isa and with a great move from Owen to Sam, down the line to Jack then Josh. Josh then threaded the ball to Andrew on the wing who past is back to Jack who shot into the left hand corner to bring the score back to 2-1.
The Shotton defence had a very busy afternoon but Sam, Drew and Lewis all coped well with the big and strong Isa forwards.
Only 1 goal down going into the last period Shotton thought they had chance to pull the goal back but Isa had other ideas and scored a further 2 goals before the whistle.
A very good performance from Shotton despite the score line with good performances from Nathan in midfeild Bradley down the left and Jake on the right.
Lewis Parry proved he earned the right to be Shotton man of the match with a good strong display.
