Another away day for Shotton ended in a 4-1 defeat to 3rd place Rhos United.

This is a game that could of gone either way, Shotton were playing Rhos off the park with some great football creating many chances and keeping high flying Rhos out of the game.

Early in the second half Shotton were Quickly reduced to 10 men with striker Carl Wright given his marching orders.

Rhos quickly acted on having a 1 man advantage and netted in the lead on 55 mins, soon after Shotton were reduced to 9 men with Mike Kallaras seeing red.

With a two men advantage Rhos ran riot and netted 3-1 ahead before Sub Ad Davies grabbed his second goal in 3 games to give shotton a little hope on 83 mins But 5 minutes later Rhos ended all hopes of a Shotton come back with Josh Jones nettong his second and a fantastic strike.

Overall the score does not reflect the performance shown by the lads, Some great play of football kept Rhos out of the game and having lost two players due to red cards is a disadvantage for any team.
If we see more of the football shown then there will be no problem of us staying in this league for seasons to come
